I'm a home baker and cookie decorator who teaches creatives how to make a consistent income selling their craft or service. I started a movement called Ten Thousand Cookies with the (wild) goal of selling 10,000 cookies to put money towards our family’s adoption. And, as is often the case with entrepreneurship, it turned into something so much bigger than I ever expected.
Make no mistake, though: I’m not a business unicorn. I took the long path to building a successful small business. From my tiny Etsy shop in 2009 to FINALLY leaving my corporate job nearly a decade later.

Hunter is my saint of a husband who has been supporting my wild ideas for 13 years now. (Full disclosure: they rarely turn out as well as this one.) He's very funny, wildly uncomfortable with conflict, and the karaoke king.
Lily is our very own sparkle unicorn. I could be biased, but she's the most magical human I've ever known. She came along a little sooner than expected, and we found out afterward that we can't even have any more pregnancies... which means she's a surprise AND a miracle. And she lives up to the hype.
Oh! And we just moved to Oahu, HI to live our island dream life! You can usually find us paddle boarding, attempting to learn how to surf, or taking turns reading in the hammock.
