November social media content ideas: Marketing for freelancers, service providers, and creative business owners

Need help creating posts for your social media and holiday promotions? You’re in the right place!

Creating content (aka posting on social media) can feel like an overwhelming (and never-ending) chore for creative business owners. If you are a freelancer, photographer, baker, artist, florist, hair stylist, or creative entrepreneur you probably have a long to-do list — and sometimes social media marketing just doesn’t make it to the top of the list… especially during busy holiday seasons.

That’s why I started this monthly series! I put together 20+ content ideas every month to help you plan your social media marketing in no time at all. This list can inspire your email marketing, Instagram, and Pinterest marketing. (Need even more ideas? Check out the October Content Ideas.) These content planning ideas help remove the stress and overwhelm from marketing your business. Use the content ideas to inspire your posts for the month!

Marketing is more important than ever during the holidays. If you’re a service provider, now is the time to fill up your client calendar for the rest of the year (and start of next). If you’re a product-based business — it’s time to SELL! Use these prompts to create a month of engaging content that helps you sell more products (or services).

Still need help with your social media content planning… Use my simple content creation system to plan out the whole month in just an hour or two!

  • Share a favorite holiday tradition or recipe.

  • Ask your followers for recommendations on a certain area… Favorite fall candle? Favorite gift ideas?

  • Share a free & valuable resource that you created.

  • Share a fun meme or gif trend — bonus points if you can make it relevant to your niche (like this)

  • Holiday promos & Black Friday specials!

Hopefully you’re feeling inspired… awesome! Next step - TAKE ACTION. Choose ONE platform and create for the entire month using this list as inspiration.
